‘Potcake’ dogs

Birds fly, cats meow, dogs cry for the next tasty meal. These cute furry animals we all call family have found themselves to the focus of The National Art Gallery of the Bahamas. The “Potcake” as we affectionately call mix breed bahamian dogs was featured in an artshow that consisted of a compilation of over 20 artist including myself. The piece entitled “Hungry aint da word” focused on the tireless struggle of a potcake survival on the streets in a such a wild yet vicarious nature.
